Delegation of Authority
As per the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, the Board of Directors should ensure that internal control processes of Hôpital Montfort are adequate and protect the hospital, its patients, staff and other participants in the daily operation of the Hospital.
The Board of Directors approved a policy that includes mechanisms for delegation of authority to the most appropriate level of decision making. All employees, physicians and volunteers are responsible for compliance with internal control rules in place bet.
The Hôpital Montfort will ensure that all expenditures are properly authorized by an appropriate signing authority.
