Mission
Incorporated in 1986, the Montfort Hospital Foundation constitutes somehow a promise to pursue the Hospital's tradition of dedication and personalized care, in order to create new resources that will benefit the entire community served by the Montfort Hospital. The Foundation is a development tool for the Montfort.
A new day is dawning in health care for our community. Modernity, efficiency, best practices and accessibility of services—these are the watchwords of tomorrow—and the Montfort will advance in these areas while respecting the needs of its patients.
The Foundation represents the Montfort Hospital"s long-term viability and is a complement to increasingly scarce government resources.
The funds collected by the Foundation serve primarily to modernize the facility’s medical equipment and to redevelop and expand essential services.
At the Montfort Hospital are found compassion, a spirit of community, and quality, personalized care, which are also at the heart of the Foundation’s work. Furthermore, these words reflect the fact that the Hospital itself truly belongs to the people within its four walls—who make up its community and are its strength!}
By blending past traditions and future objectives, the Montfort Hospital Foundation brings people together and creates a sense of belonging to the Montfort.
Finally, in addition to assisting the Hospital financially, the Foundation is a driving force behind effective volunteer management, which allows the Hospital’s staff and the broader community to draw on and benefit from our volunteers’ vast storehouse of experience.
