Our staff will help you prepare and plan your departure from Hôpital Montfort. Our goal is to ensure that acute care beds are utilized appropriately, without jeopardizing quality of care or patient safety.
If you experience difficulties or have concerns regarding your return home, feel free to discuss this with one of our team members. As soon as your physician authorizes your discharge, we ask you to begin your preparations to vacate your room by 10 am that day or within the next 2 hours. We recommend that you be accompanied by a loved one for your departure, so please make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible. Please also make sure that you understand all of our recommendations regarding your care and recovery at home.
