Many studies have shown that hand hygiene is the best way to reduce the transmission of the micro-organisms that cause infections.
Montfort Hospital actively participates in the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care provincial “Just Clean Your Hands” program. Through ongoing promotion activities, training, and the purchase and installation of new hand hygiene product dispensers, our institution is striving to improve the hand hygiene practices of healthcare workers.
