How to Become a Volunteer
We are honored that you are interested in joining us. The construction of the New Montfort is complete and your help is needed!
Here are the steps to becoming a volunteer:
1. Fill out an Application Form.
2. Fill out two (2) Volunteer Reference Forms.
3. Schedule an interview by calling 613-746-4621, ext. 2029 or 2019.
4. Meet with a representative of Volunteer Services and bring the following documents with you:
- Copy of your Application Form
- Copy of your resume
- Two (2) Volunteer Reference Forms
5. Obtain a police records check and a tuberculosis test (After the interview, chosen candidates will be asked to obtain a police records check as well as a tuberculosis test).
6. Attend an orientation session.
7. Receive on-the-job training.
Don't hesitate to drop by. The Volunteer Services staff will be pleased to meet with you. The office is open from Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and is situated on the second floor, wing C, room 2C212.
