As a compassionate provider of patient-centred health services, the Mental Health Program is a priority at Montfort.
The clinical teams working in various sectors of the Mental Health Program include specialists in such disciplines as psychiatry, nursing, social work, psychology, occupational therapy, recreology, community intervention and peer support.
A collaborative approach between professionals enhances the quality of care and promotes teamwork and the sharing of clinical information. It is important to note that the Mental Health Program at Montfort is primarily intended to serve the needs of the Francophone population although services are available in both official languages.
The program offers specialized care by means of a multidisciplinary, intensive and results-oriented approach. It includes three sectors: the treatment unit, ambulatory services and community services. The Montfort’s Mental Health Program works in close collaboration with many community partners.
