The Pharmacy Service offers a wide range of services on a daily basis. Its ten pharmacists, assisted by a dedicated team of 14 pharmacy technicians, who ensure that medication is distributed safely and that drug therapy is as effective as possible.
As an integral part of every care delivery unit in the hospital, pharmacists share their unique expertise with doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
The Pharmacy Service implements the best practices in medication management such as using advanced equipment for packaging and labelling, continuously improving procedures and teaching patients how to use medication effectively.
The Pharmacy Service also contributes in various ways to the hospital’s academic mission, for example by providing residents in medicine with the opportunity to learn directly from a pharmacist as part of their training.
