The purpose of this section is to help you plan your stay at Montfort.
Reception Services
Registering for admission can be done in person or by telephone. A representative of Reception Services will explain the admission process to you and set up an appointment for any tests required prior to your admission.
Either the day before or the day of your admission, you will be informed as to the exact time at which you must register. Upon arrival, please go to Reception Services to fill out the required forms before reporting to the appropriate department, unless told otherwise.
It is very important that patients who are scheduled for elective surgery report to the pre-admission clinic before their scheduled date of surgery. This appointment, arranged by Reception Services, allows us to provide you with all of the information relating to your hospital stay. It also allows us to carry out any diagnostic tests that have been ordered by your doctor. In some cases, the pre-admission process can be carried out by telephone.
