The new facility can reproduce real-world clinical situations through the use of simulators that allow health-care providers to acquire new skills and perfect their competencies in a safe learning environment that poses no risk to actual patients. |

Hôpital Montfort today commemorated, with a great deal of pride, a decisive moment in the history of Franco-Ontarians. Ten years ago, the Court of Appeal for Ontario handed down a ruling in Montfort's favour which overturned a decision by the government of the day to shut down the hospital. |

14 January 2011 - Montfort family loses one of its greatest defenders |
The Hôpital Montfort is saddened by the passing of Michel Gratton, who worked at Montfort as a communicator, writer and strategist. He was a key to the success of SOS Montfort. The Board of Trustees along with hospital staff staff offer their most sincere condolences to his family. Michel is survived by three daughters, Marie-France, Brigitte and Dr. Valerie Gratton, a family physician at Montfort. |
