Thanks to funding from the government of Ontario, Hôpital Montfort is increasing access to emergency care and reducing ambulance discharge time. Nurses are assigned to help patients who arrive at the Emergency Unit by ambulance.  

Hôpital Montfort is providing timely care to ambulance patients and is contributing to reducing the time paramedics spend at the Emergency Unit, thus allowing them to return faster in the community to respond to other emergencies.
