On Sunday, August 9, 2009, patients admitted to hospital beds in the East 4C and 5C wings mooved to rooms in the West 4C and 6C wings.
Surgical units
On Sunday, August 9, 2009, patients admitted to surgical beds mooved to rooms in the West 3C and 5C wings.
Day Surgery and In Patient Pre Op units
The Pre-Op and Post-Op Day Surgery and In Patient Pre-Op units mooved to 2B. The Pre-Op and Post-Op Unit for ophthalmic surgeries mooved to 1B.
Prayer room
The prayer room is now located at 1C141 until May 2010. Pastoral services will also move to this floor. The chaplain’s office is located at 1C162.
Administrative offices and support services
Some administrative offices and support services mooved during the same period.
Diagnostic imaging
A new imaging room equipped with new state of the art equipment mooved to 1C.
Emergency Departement Relocation
Emergency services are now provided at the new site, located west of the existing entrance, wing “ A “, level 1. To access the emergency, persons from outside the hospital must use the new entrance located west of the ambulance garage. See the “ “ on the map below.
Vehicle traffic
Vehicles will be able to drop off passengers at the new Emergency Service entrance, located west of the existing entrance. Emergency vehicles always have priority.
Parking
The visitors’ parking lot located East of the hospital will still be accessible. However, from July 16th until August 14th, drivers must drive around the hospital to get there. We recommend using the Aviation Parkway entrance during this time.
Public Transportation
For public transport users, route number 5 will be modified from July 16th until September 8th. The new bus stop will be located south of the hospital. See the map for details.
