Dr. Moreau is a specialist in orthopaedics and has practiced medicine since 1986. He has been a member of the Montfort medical staff since 2001 as a visiting member and became an active member in 2009. Dr. Moreau has gained extensive experience in medical practice with the Canadian Armed Forces and has developed a practice of orthopaedic surgery in academia and community. He participated actively in teaching medical students and residents in orthopaedics.
Dr. Moreau has a degree in Civil Law from the University of Ottawa and has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 2006.
The Chief Of Staff, a position required by the Ontario Public Hospitals Act, is accountable for the quality of the medical acts performed by all physicians and professionals of the Hospital. He chairs the Medical Advisory Committee and he reports to the Hospital Board of Trustees.
