Requests for Accommodation

We make every effort to respect our patients’ preferences in terms of accommodations (private room, semi-private room or ward with four beds). However, there is a possibility that the type of accommodation you requested is not available at the time of your admission.

If you are assigned to a type of room that is superior to what you had requested, you will not be billed for the extra costs associated with the upgraded room. If you are assigned to a type of room that is inferior to what you had requested, you will be billed only for the costs associated with the downgraded room.

If, upon admission, you are assigned to a type of room that is different from that which you had requested and the type of room you requested becomes available, we ask that you respect your initial choice and transfer to the new room. If you so choose, you may then submit a second request for a room that meets your new preferences.
