Surgical Unit |

The Surgical Unit provides care and services to patients after their surgery. This critical care is an essential component in the continuum of care that is provided to Montfort’s patients. Specialized care is offered in orthopedics, gynecology and general surgery. The Unit has 44 beds in addition to two beds reserved for patients requiring closer observation.
Specialized doctors, nurses and other health professionals work as a team. The Surgery Unit also contributes to Montfort’s academic mission as it trains students in health sciences as well as residents who deliver care under the supervision of their medical supervisors.
