The mission of Therapeutic Services is to help rehabilitate patients with physical or psychological limitations due to illness or injury. Therapeutic Services are a major component in the range of ambulatory services offered at Montfort.
The rehabilitation team includes specialists in physiotherapy, and in occupational and speech therapy. Together, these health professionals take into account all of a patient’s physical and psychological needs in order to maximize his or her reintegration into daily life.
Health professionals in Therapeutic Services use a collaborative approach based on respect, dignity and human warmth that calls upon the patient’s active participation throughout the treatment process.
